Born and raised in Arcadia, Adam is married to his wife Jill of 11 years and they have been blessed with two sons, Bennett, age 7 and Camron, age 4. They are active members of the St. Paul Lutheran Church of Carroll where he currently serves as Evangelism Chair. Adam is the Mayor of Carroll, a community leader and successful small businessman who owns and operates two growing local businesses.

IOWA EDUCATION
Adam Schweers believes we must support
effective educators, increase access to
educational opportunities, and leave
individual school decisions at the local level.
Parents should be able to choose the school
that best meets their child’s needs.

IOWA AGRICULTURE
Adam Schweers knows agriculture is the
constant driving force to the Iowa economy.
We must support our agricultural communities
and encourage private investments to expand
the markets.

IOWA BUSINESS
Adam Schweers will work to remove
regulations which cripple our businesses. We
must also look for the long term approach to
bring more jobs to Iowa, not more quick-fix
government programs.

IOWA TAXPAYERS
Adam Schweers believes taxpayers pay
enough in taxes and we deserve to see
how these dollars are collected and
spent by government. An open and
transparent government will help all
of us to analyze and curb accounting
gimmicks within the state budget.
